Why not try Candle Making? Candle making is not really that

hard, but you do have to be cautious (making candles involves high

temperatures, flammable substances, & potentially harmful chemicals). The

jars) as this will get you some experience working with waxes, wicks,

dyes, & scents. Note that there are many different types of waxes
(container, pillar, soy, gel) & scents (not all are all safe together). I
would recommend that you look at some of the sites I provided links to,
take a lesson, or buy an introduction book/video. There is a lot of good &
bad information out there, please use caution.

If you could find old wooden chairs or tables, you could use
Puffin
your painting skills to paint unique designs on them. I've seen painted

chairs at craft shows and they're really cool. For instance, you could

paint a wooden chair all white, and then hand paint a design on top of

that. If the old furniture or chairs need a little fixing up, the

Cross stitch and Embroidery - you can do freestyle embroidery

on anything. I use artist canvas painted and then use different stitches

to make a 'picture'. Its all freestyle so they all come out different!

My suggestion, for what it is worth? Don't be afraid to try out the little

sewing machine in ur old upholstery shop. If it doesn't work -- or is just
not user-friendly -- consider getting a machine that does work & is
user-friendly, like a Brother. I love my new Brother sewing machine, & I
have yet to lose a finger with it! LOL!
